KXLY Highlights SRDVC's New Positive Social Norms Campaign
SPOKANE, Wash. — A local organization is bringing a new approach to raising awareness about domestic violence.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Spokane Regional Domestic Violence Coalition said they are focused on showing that survivors of domestic violence are more than just a statistic.
Part of that effort includes a new billboard campaign across Spokane.
“Instead of black eyes and bloody noses, when you see something from DVC, you’re going to see somebody who is happy and healthy and wanting to participate in life,” said Taffy Hunter of SRDVC.
